These are, what I think, are the most entertaining films of 2005. They aren’t necessarily what I think are the best or thought provoking, just the ones I lost track of time the most easily in the theater and had a good time with. These tend to be SFX films with not too much thinking involved. Popcorn movies that actually didn’t suck, but sucked me in.
Below that, I’ve included my “best of/worst of” list for 2005. The “worst of” part is a little more difficult as I try to make a point not to see what I think will be bad films (i.e. “The Honeymooners” or “xXx: State of the Union”). Still, the “worst of” categories are the worst of what I saw.
