     Valentine’s Day is soon approaching. Here are the top ten movies for couples to rent on that “special” day. Although generally true chick flicks, if I were forced to sit down and watch a movie on V-day, these are good enough that I wouldn’t mind renting again. Not all of these were probably praised very highly by critics or are considered classics (like Breakfast at Tiffany’s), they can still be fun, lighthearted, romantic and funny. Even guys can at least appreciate most of these for one reason or another.

Rated in order for that particular day (Feb 14th), NOT in order of what I consider the best:

7) Serendipity
6) Jerry Maguire
5) Il Mare (foreign/subtitled - this is the original, MUCH BETTER version of “The Lake House”)
4) Love Actually
3) My Big Fat Greek Wedding
2) While You Were Sleeping
1) When Harry Met Sally
