I think Filmspotting is one of the better podcasts out there.

Just saw Sunshine, so I'm gonna catch up with your spoilerific review in Episode 57.

glad you guys liked Darjeeling so much, and saw how much its really like Bottle Rocket. For such an arty film, it felt so much less pretentious than Anderson films are said to be. at least to me.

compare that to the Filmspotting podcast, who I think can be so clinical in their analysis that they somehow lose all sense of diving into these characters.

Great show guys.

Not much surprised by your take on "Dungeon Siege" or whatever it's called. Sad thing is, we already have plans to see it when it eventually opens down the road. At the very least, it'll be a good social outing.

Good to heard (and read) that "Mulberry Street" is good. It was the one trailer (other than the head shaking of "Audience of One") that caught my attention when I checked them out. I'm looking forward to catching that on DVD at some point - unless it miraculously gets a theatrical release though it sounds like that may be highly doubtful.

As for "Elizabeth", I'm with Andrew and the minority on this one. True, it's no where near as good as the original but I enjoyed it and though the music did get annoying after a bit (to the point where it started to be rather distracting at times) and my complaints on the under use of most of the supporting talent, I still enjoyed it. Not sure I'll be running out to see it again when it hits DVD but I may re-visit it at some point down the road.

Oh I was wondering if and when you were going to mention Guy Ritchie's Revolver (it seemed odd you hadn't reviewed/mentioned it before but now I hear you say they haven't even distributed it over there yet...strange). I was just curious, Kurt, what did you think of it?
