This is only for the people who are not going to see Transformers anytime soon. If you are save this trailer for the theatre. Otherwise here is the trailer for the project codenamed Cloverfield by J.J. Abrahms. Oh and just so you know it the reason it is a crappy pirated version of it is that the trailer is not being released on the web. The movie doesn’t have a title yet. Truthfully this is really cool viral marketing that is going to pay off big time in the end. Hopefully the movie is actually good.
ADMIN NOTE: In other news, why would Paramount NOT want people to see this? Why are they bullying other sites to take it down? They can’t bully me. Go after Google you dickheads. They’re the ones hosting it. I’d LOVE to get sued by Paramount. A) they can’t. B) No publicity is bad publicity. C) I have nothing they could sue me for.

Yeah, apparently the ENTIRE film is going to be shot like that - through the perspective of these kids’ video cams. COULD be really great.
I remember everyone at the theater being pretty excited about that trailer at the theater.
Probably because no one knew that it was coming! I will admit it was nice to see a trailer I hadn’t seen on-line before and though it looks pretty cool, the whole handheld camera movie has been done but the trailer does look promising.
Hand-Held/amateur look and feel with integration of special effects and a more ‘epic’ sized story has not been done to the best of my knowledge.
It has my interest (and yes, seeing a brand new trailer on the big screen instead of quick time was a treat!)
Andrew & I didn’t manage to get to this in the cinecast due to time restrictions….but both of as remain hopeful that this is a good idea. (The down side, JJ Abram’s only feature film at the moment is the excreble MI:3 which was terrible on nearly every level…here is hoping for a drastic improvement)
I have found one remaining copy of the “Cloverfield” trailer online at http://haasunderground.blogspot.com for anyone who has not yet seen it.
