Fans of the Saw series (which includes me I might add) will be interested in seeing the following “teaser” poster for the fourth installment in the series (shown below).

Now I will just throw in my two cents on the general idea of making a fourth Saw film. For those of you who have seen the other three films, and especially the third, will be wondering the exact same thing as me - how in the world can they make a fourth one? The story effectively was over by the end of the third so how in the world they can carry it on is beyond me. But since they have decided to go ahead and make it anyway, however implausable the carrying on of the story is, I will no doubt be there at the cinema to see what they do with it.
What are your thoughts on the poster and the idea of a fourth film in general?

Saw 1 - nice little film. Horror films rarely make me think or get me to be impressed. I was proven wrong with this neat idea.
Saw 2 - One of the biggest piles of cow dung I’ve sat through at a theater.
Saw 3 - Not quite as bad as 2, but still pretty lame.
Saw 4 - Why? Why o why? Is this really necessary? I can’t believe people will pay for this.
Sorry dude, not meaning to rip you, I just hated these and thought they were pointless; other than the first one.
Well here is my opinion on the first three:
Saw 1 - ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. So much so it is now OFFICIALLY my favourite horror film ever made (note FAVOURITE not BEST).
Saw 2 - My love of the first made me biast and therefore I enjoyed the hell out of this one.
Saw 3 - Just gore for the sake of gore. Pointless story, a stretch to bring Jigsaw back. But again I am baist and therefore I still enjoyed it somewhat for the overall idea.
SAw 4 - They should not make this. How in the world are they going to include the key character? *sigh*
(2 extra notes)
1. Andrew did you REALLY like 3 more than 2? At least 2 had a better story and was less about having gore for the sake of gore.
2. (There are rumours that are more than likely going to come true that there WILL be a FIFTH film!)
say what you will about the series (I stopped after one, which was fun, if slight)…they have nice, consistent and overall aesthetically pleasing poster designs
Haha, very true Kurt.
I’m still trying to get over the fact that it feels like I sat through 3 yesterday. No more for me.
anyone else having trouble with the audio comments?
I dunno man I haven’t tried it in ages
What seems to be the problem?
I just read over at /film.com that this poster is not tied to the film in any way, but was actually the cover to an invitation of a press event at a restaurant. Oh well, still a cool poster and still the film shouldn’t be made.
