‘A Christmas Story’ Director Dies

Easily the best Christmas film ever made (A Christmas Story) saw it’s director depart this earth on early Wednesday morning. Apparently the victim of a drunk driver along with his 22 year old son, Bob Clark was pronounced dead at the scene; while the driver of the sport utility vehicle, Hector Valazquez-Nava, 24, of Los Angeles and passenger Lydia Mora, 29, of Azusa were taken to UCLA Medical Center and treated for minor injuries.

This is indeed a sad bit of news and it will make this year’s 24 hours of A Christmas Story on TNT that much more special this holiday season. Here at MoviePatron, our hearts go out to Bob’s family and friends as well as the loyal legion of fans. R.I.P. sir, R.I.P.
